Finally, I've broken through that pesky little number that's been bugging me all week. This marks 16 pounds (actually 17.2 pounds) since I started this plan on May 5th - just under eight weeks. I've got 30 or 40 pounds to go, but this is a significant step. Milestone #2 I'm going to set a bit further out - 25 pounds - and expect it to take about three months instead of two. So, my initial estimate will be the very end of September. That will put me in close range of my goal weight (although that goal is sort of fuzzy, depending on how I feel when I get there. My weight always used to range over about 15 pounds depending on how much I was working out and how much muscle I was carrying.)
In other news, the bison ribeye I'd gotten at the farmer's market is divine. I could easily have eaten the entire pound of meat, but I decided to hold off to spread the enjoyment over a few days :)
